Getting Caught up...

I cant believe that it's been so long since I have posted anything. So, I guess its time to catch up... After a wonderful birthday weekend with family the birthday festivities continued. The next Friday I had a birthday dinner with my friends at Castaways restaurant. As everyone knows, I love that place and it has such great memories for me. Of course that is where we had our wedding reception and where we spent out first anniversary dinner. It's also been a romantic place for a date night and a few birthday celebrations.

Jim and I also had a great day at Disneyland with our Nephew, Chris. He was so excited to go to Disneyland with just us. Chris woke up that morning and was not feeling good but he would not let us cancel and go a different day with us. I think he was really tired from being at Disneyland the day before with his Mom and Grandma. They did not get home util midnight and here we were waking him up at 8am to go back. It turned out to be a great day and Chris said the cutest things that just made me laugh. We went on Thunder Mountain first because that is Chris' favorite ride. And he convinced me to ask the guy if we could sit in the last cart because Chris says, "That is the best seat on the ride." We also went on Tower of Terror which is a ride that drops you 6 stories (I think). Chris then had me go on his favorite ride in California Adventure, Mahallon Drive. And he was right, it was my favorite ride too! {{wink}} {{wink}} We all had a fun "Chris' Day".

Then, the day everyone was dredding (well maybe not my Dad) came. It was moving day for my Parents. They had so much help, it was amazing. We thought it would take us two days to pack up the moving truck but we had everything out of the house and in the truck within 5 hours or so. Minus the odds and ends... On Saturday we went to Aunt Lynne's to visit and go swimming. Then on Sunday morning my Parents were on the road to Texas...

Fourth of July has also come and gone and it was a great day in the pool. The weather was beautiful so I took advantage of it and floated in the pool most of the day with a Malibu drink in my hand. All I needed was a drink umbrella...
We had the famous Costello firework show in the front yard and this year Jim and Jr passed the torch to Kyle and Daniel. It was fun as always.
