It's Been a While...

Wow, I cant believe it has been 2 months since I last posted an update. (thank Mom for the reminder, lol.) So much has happened in the past 2 months so I guess I should get everyone up to speed on the life of the Costello household.

In May, It was a VERY busy month. My Cousin, Stephanie, got married and I was the Matron of Honor in the wedding. We had a bridal shower, bachelorette party and wedding all in May. Stephanies colors were hot pink, black and black and white damask print. The theme was "Around the Clock" so each guest was assigned a time and the present the guests puchased for that time would be used for their time assigned. There were about 40 ladies that attended the bridal shower and it gave my the opportunity to work with my cricut machine (side note: that machine is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G). We played a few games including "Dont say Bride" and Bridal Shower Bingo. It was a beautiful day so we were able to have it outside which is always refreshing.

For the Bachelorette Party we went to Las Vegas to celebrate. There were 7 girls who went with us and we had a blast. We arrived in Vegas on Friday night around 11:30 pm but we did not let that stop us. We went to the dualing Piano bar at harrah's were they got Stephanie on stages. It was really funny until they asked Stephanie where her Maid of Honor was and then they had Stephanie drag me on stage. I was totally out of my comfort zone. We left the Piano Bar and started walking the strip. I think we got back in to our rooms around 4am. On Saturday afternoon we lounged by the pool, ate dinner and then it was another night of fun and adventures. We had a scavenger hunt on Saturday night as well. I remember my girlfriends decorating me for my Bachelorette night so I made sure I had different decorations and shirts each night so all of Vegas nknew it was Stephanie's bachelorette party.

The following Saturday, May 20, 2010, was the wedding. It was Beautiful! All the Bridesmaids met at one of the Bridesmaid's home. We had mimosa's and fresh strawberries in the morning and hung out while everyone had their hair done and makeup professionally done.

The wedding was at 4:00pm and it was beautiful. Stephanie walked down the aisle and it so sweet to watch Ryan's face when she came around the corner and down the aisle. Jim was also in the wedding which was a lot of fun. I have never been in a wedding before so it made it extra special to look acrossed at Jim standing up there with the groomsmen while Stephanie and Ryan said their wedding vows to each other. It was crazy to think that 4 years and 1 week before this day, Stephanie was standing up with Jim and I as our Maid of Honor.

Rockin the Keys

I have been telling Aunt Lynne about a Dualing Piano Bar called ROCK THE KEYS for months now and this past Saturday, we finally went. It was a BLAST!!! It was Jim and I, my Mom, Aunt Lynne, Archie, Brandon and Jessica (Brandon's new girfriend). Jessica fits in just fine and was such a trooper... ;)

Later on, Katie and Jarrod joined us. There was a Bachelorette that entertained the crowd as well as a few birthday girls and Jose, a birthday boy. It's a lot of fun and I love all the songs throughout the night. The Performers were definetly on their toes and so creative when it scome to making up your own verses to a song. They had split the audience to see which side sang the loudest and there was a lot of friendly bantering as well. So much fun!!!
