They Cant Wait...

These two cant wait... Only 13 more days until Mother Mitchell/Grandma comes to stay with us. That means good food, a clean house and Hannah will get a lot of attention.

Garth Brooks in VEGAS!!!

This past weekend, Jim and I went to Vegas to see Garth Brooks. Let me say that words can not describe how amazingly spectacular his show was. But just know that it was AMAZING. He is the one country performer I have never seen and have always wished to see. Everything about the concert was an event. To purchase the tickets was an event in itself and it took Kristin 7 hours to get them. Then we had to pick up the tickets at will-call which was at the opposite end of the Wynn hotel. Each one of us had to privide our ID's to prove that we were who we said we were and then we had to get the ticket, a wrist band was out on our left wrist and a stamp on the top of our hand. As you could probably imagine we were not able to take pictures but I did get sneaky and took a picture before he came out on stage. Geesh!
The stadium held 1500 people so it was an intimate concert. There was not band or backups. It was Garth and a guiter. He came out in jeans, workboots, a sweatshirt and baseball cap. We discovered that Garth was not just an entertainer and singer but he is also a comedian... really funny. Half way through the show, Trisha Yearwood came out to sing "run away Joe" and "she in love with the boy". Wow, she can really sing.
I can now check that off my Bucket List...
